Check out the link below.

They advertise on this site as well. I purchased and installed the timer on my '03 and it has worked flawlessly.

Re:Turbo Cool Down

I'd had the timer on mine for 2-3 months and it works GREAT. I think Howard just perfected the ones for the 03 & 04 models. You won't be disapointed with the way the timer works, ease of installation, or the price.

bought one installed it & it works perfect. but what about the alarm. i lock the doors & when the truck shuts off it unlocks the doors & i cant set the alarm untill the unit times out & shuts off the engine which means standing around waiting for it to shut down. i think i installed it per instuctions but maybe some one can tell me if i did something wrong its not much good to me this way. i tried emailing vanfleet but has not replied ( three weeks ago).love the unit but need alarm more. 98 12valve

Dansel, Sorry about the disconnect on the problem help. I reply to all my email, I remember a problem reported like this and I remember replying. I apologize if you did not get my response for one reason or another. Please email me again so I can see if I goofed up.

Anyway this is what I found, some trucks are programed to unlock the door when you turn off the truck. Does your doors unlock when you turn the key off and no timer turned on? If not that is not the problem. If your truck doors do unlock you can take the truck to the dealer and have them reprogram it.

I also remember asking you to solder the fuse taps to the fuse, this has eliminated a lot of flaky behavior.

Please let me know if this helps. I would love to get to the bottom of this.

I got one of the first, and then the updated version for free, works GREAT, and OPPS, Howard I found that my wife has not mailed the old one back to you, sorry. It'll be going out on Monday. It makes going shopping with my wife more fun, we had an older man today at Sears walk over to us just before and tell me my truck was still running, it might get stolen, I told him they better drive fast because they only got 2 minutes of fun
