It's probably a combo boost vacuum gauge. The gassers use them. I belive it's measuring inches of mercury. Boost gauges are so cheap why bother with second rate stuff? Check ebay for autometer z series boost gauges and see what you can find. I got my pyro for $50 less than anywhere else that way.

That's a vacuum gauge. Not gonna have any of that on your Cummins. You could install it as a filter minder though, just plumb it in between the filter and the turbo.

Dave, that has been my opinion also for a vacuum gauge use also but I've never tried it and several people have told me it won't work.
For reasons I don't understand folks say that the gauge has to be somehow designed around the particular filter you are using. This is apparently why the filter minder only works correctly on the factory airbox and nowhere else.
I can't understand it since the filter minder is nothing more than a simple vacuum gauge.

I can't imagine why it wouldnt. Vacuum is vacuum, it always sucks.

I've seen a few filter minders that plain don't work no matter what you do.

The only way to know for sure is to hook it up and try it. Next time I'm in the backlot at one of the truck shops I go to I'll try to liberate one off a wreck. I'd be interested to know if my gray BHAF is a restriction yet.

Let me know how it works.
One of the people who told me it wouldn't should be an expert, Scotty.

Sure, but I think that would get boring. The red brake idioit light will turn on if the vacuum gets too low.
