Where to begin trying to figure this out.

Truck doesnt start anymore. Chugs but no fire. 100% full of good(I think) #2 It was running fine but without any notice it just wouldnt restart at lunch one day.

At one point I thought the fass pump had quit and then I had the filters replaced on it by Fergison diesel who tried to charge me $300 bucks just for the 2 filters which he claims the old ones were totally clogged and it went back to normal for a few weeks and now this.

I modded my fca at one point so I undid that cause it made me think it was the problem.

What can I try?

My guess is either a bad injector or 2 or maybe the cp3 is wrecked. How can I check this stuff?

Sounds like electrical not mechanical? Might try moving the wires around under the hood and dash maybe even move the tilt wheel up and down. Seems like the 04.5 had some kind of wire rubbing problem in the steering column.
