Transmission going out? Odd noise?

Hey guys,
I have this noise that keeps bothering me. I'm worried that I'm going to end up stranded.
It comes through the floor boards near the front of the truck or possibly from the trans.
It's a wurring noise (Like the sound you hear from the trans in an old big rig).
Here's the odd part. I don't notice it when the truck is empty. But, when I load it up i hear it a lot! and even wierder, it gets louder and softer when I hit dips on the highway. It only makes it at highway speed. But when I hit a bump and the suspension compresses, it goes away, when it unloads upward, the sound gets louder.

I have: Checked all fluids, Checked front wheel bearings(no play), checked u-joints.
Anyone run into this? Any help? I'm worried that it's in the trans, but I don't think the trans would be affected by dips in the road.
Brian

I checked the u-joints. I did notice some up and down movement on the yoke of the t-case, but I'm not sure it would make that sound.

My truck also makes a whirring noise from the floor area under me. I have newer ujoints, new wheels bearing so I am under the assumption its a bearing in the front diff. I notice my noise at 65 - 75 mph in 2wd and about 45-55 mph and 65-75 mph in 4wd. I've had this problem for a few months now and I'd like to get it solved too.

Do you have a 2 piece rear driveshaft? If so one place to look would be the carrier bearing, I've seen those make that kind of noise before.
