I've seen a few posts that are similar but not quite this. My truck (99 Dodge 2500 Quad Cab 24 valve Cummins 4x4) will not shift out of first to second unless I let off the gas. If I press the accellarator too hard it will shift right back to first. The rest of the shifts are fine. It will downshift fine and also into reverse. The only thing I remember it doing differently prior to this problem is the other day it stuttered a few times when taking off from a stop. No problems with the trans prior to that. Please help. I don't know of any reliable transmission shops here in Louisville KY. John
