Trans temp Light on truck dies???
Trans temp Light on truck dies???
This is the second time my truck has died on me!! Once while driving and passed by someone and turned into a driveway it just died and all the lights on the dash came on and I had no steering, brakes,or anything. It took a few cycles of the key with no codes to restart but died again and the trans temp was on,pulled over and finally got it restarted again and looking under the hood and under truck I could not see anything wrong and when I shut the hood it died again!!! ***?? Then while checking codes with my BDTD,NO BUS showed on the dash where the mileage reads. After returning to stock it fired up and I had no problems for a week and just yesterday after driving I pulled into a parking lot and it just died again with the trans temp coming on but this time I had my bully dog on performance and just regular driving. After the light went off it fired back up and i checked the fluid and all was ok.WHAT DO I DO???
The only time this has happened is when running my bully dog triple dog on performance. Do I have a loose wire somewhere??

I would suspect that your are exceeding the parameters for the fuel injection controller, and it is attempting to put the system in survivability. It could be a leaky injector, a regulator that is beginning to fail, or a loose wire.
What you really should do is have all the codes pulled with a professional reader that also gets the companion codes.
The reason it only happens with the Bully Dog is that the Bully Dog modifies the pulse width and timing. You get a little wear in the fuel system and those Bully Dog modifications are likely enough to create errors when the fuel system is unable to satisfy the demand.
