Trans Fluid?

Can anyone tell me if Mopar Type III and Type IIII trans fluid is interchangable

Yes they can be used separatly or together.

No they can not. ATF+4 is for the newer vehicles. I have a 2001 and it specifies ATF+4. ATF+4 isbackward compatible but ATF+3 is not forward compatible.

If you are refering to the 05 in your sig, use +4.

You can put 4 into a tranny with 3 but you should not mix 3 into a tranny with 4. Or you can go up but can't go down.
