Here is the deal. Last fri i picked up my truck with my new billit suncoast tranny it in. Drove like a dream...until today. I researched on here and found TSTs info on how to do a T/C Lockup switch. I went about it EXACTLY as the directions said and did a super clean job. Drove the truck around and nothing?! I went home, cleaned the ground up and tried it again. STUCK IN 2nd GEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How bad of shape am I in? Im soo heated right now its not even funny . I need this truck and don't need it in the shop. Can someone please help me?!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Sounds like limp mode. Mine did the exact same thing when my jumper wire came loose.
After I shut it down and reinstalled the trans relay everything went back to normal on the next test drive.

I did change a ground while the batteries weren't connected! DUH! I will make sure everything is a ok then try it again.
