tranny shifts to 3rd too soon!

got a 95 4by 4 auto tranny...the tranny shifts nice and crisp 1st and 2nd and then 3rd it shifts really early...almost right after 2nd...the rpms drop alot...i wanna postpone the 3rd shift how??

Check your kick down cable when I first got my truck it did the same thing someone had broke the clip on the end of the cable.

where's that located bud? i wanna be able to locate it quick...u had the same problem with 3rd gear??

It's at the TPS, or also, top front drivers side of the motor.
