Tranny shifts super fast from 2nd to 3rd and let off for OD
OK, I am finally going to address this problem. Under light throttle my 2-3 shift happens just about when it shifts into 2nd and it slips super fast into 3rd
and then I have to let off on the gas pedal under heavier throttle for OD to engage. The OD problem is killing me on the track I am winding out on RPMs 100 yds before the 1\8th mile. Any tranny guys out there or somebody have this prob. already?

When it stacks the 2-3 shift is the converter locked? Mine does it if I lock 2nd under light throttle but doesn't seem to when I'm on it fairly hard. I'm not sure why it does that. I only mentioned it to Tony once but I may see him this week and will ask if I think of it. Don't know about the shift into OD. Mine doesn't do that. Did you contact your builder? They might have some ideas.
