Unhappy Tranny Aux cooler line replacement?

My aux cooler lines are leaking at the quick-connect fittings underneath the truck. I believe the fittings also act as a check valve as well. The dealer says it will cost $600 to replace the hoses. $100 per hose (2), plus labor. Has anyone done this themselves with aftermarket parts? Also, is the check valve really needed? I'm pretty handy but, don't want to cut the quick-connects out if their required. I pretty much only have 2-days to fix this, so I need some quick advice!

Thanks!

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
A Hydraulic hose shop can make them up. Some do on vehicle repiars and could probablly eliminate the problem connector. Or you can take parts to said shop and let them repair yours.
