i pulled the dip-stick out today and noticed that there were bubbles in my tranny oil. the truck was acting up yesterday it would go in and out of over-drive, but the tranny wasn't slipping at all. its a 98.5

 

Sound like the torque converter is locking and unlocking. Clean the battery terminals and do a search on this problem.

 

Make sure it is not over filled!!!
You may know this, but with the trans warm, engine running, in neutral and on level ground, pull the dip stick, wipe it off and reinstall it. pull it and it should be at the full mark. More and it will foam.
