towing in a few hours....

hey guys (and gals) i am leaving in a few hours and my trialer will be empty for the 12 hour ride up... i have air bags in the rear and an empty trailer seems to be bouncy no matter what pressure i am at. i have about 500 pound of sand, shoulld i put it at the front of the trailer or rear of the bed of the pickup to try to smooth the ride out some? any help is appreciated, thanks!

Lower the air in your trailer tires to make them soft and re air them up when you get close to your load. Goodluck,,Rick
