I have had the mystery switch installed for a year with no problems until yesterday! (momemtary switch, relay out no resister)
I really "baby" this rig but sometimes use the switch to shift to 3rd if I am at ~30mph, and OD if over 45mph not hauling. When hauling and fairly level I use the switch over 30+ by backing off the throttle a little and hit the switch, I don't use the switch usually for OD under 60mph, same method.

Yesterday when I lost the switch lock-up I was not hauling! The truck seams to run ok but I have not pulled the 5th wheel yet. Seams like shifts are not as quick/tight??
We are 1500 miles into a 2000 mile trip from NC to AZ hauling a 10kLB 5th wheel. Currently in Deming NM.

Updated Info! Tranny temps yesterday were normal for not hauling, level desert 75 degrees outside, reading 150/160 on tranny out line, around town stop lights, less than 180 (normal)!

I ran the codes and got a 622, 743, & 1765!

Then I removed the jumper and reinstalled the relay, and checked the fuse (ok), ran the codes again, got 622, 743, & 1765!

Disconnected the batteries, cleared the codes and reset APS. Now all the codes are gone and truck seams to run fine (not hauling 5th wheel).
So did the Mystery switch cause the problem? Is this just a burp? Has anyone seen this? Please help before I load up and head out!!!
