Tackling lift pump this mornin
Well yesterday I noticed that I cant hear my lift pump ticking while the key is in the on posistion.
Also with the box on the truck seems to hesistate like its starving for fuel.
Going to check line pressure then were goin in. :'(
Never done it before so any advice would be appreciated.
Freightliner - $132.00 out of stock
Fleetpride - $216.00
Dealer - $200.00
Were going to get it at the dealer , but my buddy gets them at a pretty good discount (25-30%)

I can not give you any advice but will let you know that the last one the dealer change for me only took him about 25 mins. :
He did it outside in the dealer lot becasue all his bays were full. I tired to watch him but I got the hint after about 5 mins that he did not want me to watch.

Been told to remove the fule canister and come in from the top. Doesn't seem to be anything difficult.

I only got about 1,500 miles left on my VP44 warranty.

I hauled cattle (special sales) all over south Texas for 2 years (fall only) made some good money and it was all C.O.D. I had a 32x6 Gosseneck brand with double gates. Sold it and bought another flatbed. Wish I had kept my cattle trailer.
