Surging p0606

I have put 4 lift pumps in my truck, and 1 injection pump, all under warranty. If the truck is parked slightly uphill I have to bump start it to get the injection pump to run for 15 seconds so it will start. I have had this problem since 23000 miles and the dealers can't fix it. I did the clear fuel line to check for air leaks and it showed nothing. I check for codes periodically and yesterday morning I had no codes showing. Last night on my way home the truck started funny and was surging, not dead pedel but like it was running out of fuel. The fuel pressure was fine 10-13 psi. I checked the codes and got p 0606. I looked it up and said ECM failure. When I did some research here it sounds like it could be a number of things. Before I take it to a dealer: Is this a warranty issue (75000 miles)? Is there something I can try to fix it myself? Thanks in advance.

I guess I would like to be armed with a little more info before I call the dealer because the nearest one I trust is 2.5 hours away and it ends up wasting at least 2 days of my time to get the pickup down there and back. Any thoughts?

Thanks
