I have had a few trips around the sun. In that time I have owned two new vehicles. Warranty was the worst thing to deal with. If I was to buy a new vehicle, I would like to opt out of the warranty and have the cost of the vehicle reflect that.

A few years ago I had two step vans doctored up with something.
One truck was a chevy v8 the other was a cummins 4BT.
Both showed very poor performance on the same day!! Apparently they had suger put in the tanks on a weekend.
The gas truck was quickest to show up. I just changed the fuel filter and sent it out. That night is was plugged again, so I cut the filter open and it was FULL of a pink granular/sand substance. So I dropped the tank and washed it out. I had a gallon milk jug full of it.
Next day the 4bt did the same, so I dropped the tank and fhushed it, change the filters and it was ok.
I was not a happy camper. 6 times since I have found a door unlocked on my shop, so It is now BARRED shut and the police are watching.
I know who it is just haven't caught him YET.
I may serve time for cutting fingers off if I get caught.!!!!
