On occasion when turning right and it doesn't matter if it is half way or all the way to the "lock" I heat a "POP" like sheet metal binding up and then letting go. The sound appears to come to the left front and I cant seem to find anything? Any ideas?

Mine does it every once in a while also. I'm pretty sure that mine is from the steering shaft rubbing on the fenderwell. I'd imagine that your 05 has a plastic fenderwell so it might not be your problem but might be somewhere else to check.
