VP44 timing is set by the computer, no manual adjustments.
Is the leak AT the pump, or just one of the fittings?

Cummins South has a location just South of Atlanta. The number there is 404-763-0151 during regular business hours weekdays. They have a 24 hour number for emergency service but that's gonna be expensive. Probably cheaper to wait for Monday and stay in a 4 star hotel tonight.

My son is there with a guy who works for me that is pretty mecanically inclined. He said the leak did not appear to be from a fitting or line.
Lift pump that is on it hasn't got 5,000 miles on it and was installed at our local cummins repair center.
Whats the likleyhood that it will be just the lift pump and not the injector pump? he is at a TA center right now and they can install a lift pump tommorrow, but if that doesn't do it they can't do the injector pump.

Nope, I just looked up the nearest Cummins distributor to your location. Figured a Cummins shop would be more likely to have a comeptent tech than a Dodge dealer.

I think 2003 is in those new years that Cummins shops won't work on any more.

Actually my son is doing this delivery so he is the one who is stranded. Yes i have gauges and fuel pressure was running 12-15 lbs. (just had a lift pump put on in Oct.)
Talked to Bob Wagner and he steered me to Jeff Garmon Diesel in Ga.
No luck getting hold of him yet but will keep trying.

Herb, that ought to be the next business you start then eventually you would get all of our business! You would get mine probably sooner than later, I just replaced my 4 Lift Pump this weekend. It had been fluctuating for about 2 months now and finally died Friday.
