My truck twice in 25000 mi. has after start up and driving 500 yds., only idles. I put it into neutral, rev it up , drop into drive and it goes again . Any ideas? Thanks Dave

More info needed......

Gas, diesel..... 1947....2005.....there is a time frame in there somewhere
