Slave cylinder installation
Slave cylinder installation
I had to replace my clutch master and slave cylinder, the problem is the new one is two pieces and is pre-bled. The slave cylinder has a small white cap over the end of the piston that is held down by plastic tabs. Do I take those tabs loose and release the piston before I plug it into the hose that connects it to the master cylinder or do I plug it in first and then release those tabs? Or does it matter?
I replaced the clutch this month so I had the opportunity to look at those tabs and install the slave without the tabs. I didn't see any issues. Re-installation went well, wasn't that much of a push onto the studs to get the nuts started.
Back to morning brew...
