Actually, it is warm and toasty down here. All day I go around in shorts and flip flops. The doors and windows on the house are wide open and I use the airconditioning in the truck every day.
But I will admit that the temps in Spokane right now leave much to be desired. OK, OK, maybe they are a bit more (less?) than nothing. Happy now?

20 degrees this morning.
Took the kids to school wearing what?

Yup, shorts and flip flops.

Put on shoes and socks to go to work though, still wearing the shorts.

Hey Mexstan , it's supposed to be between 11* and 17* here tonight, and that's TOO COLD for us rednecks. It is 65* in the house now and momma is complaining because I turned up the heat, but she hates to go north in the winter, because it's too cold. , I will try to log on when I get to Brazil in Feb., should be a nice 95-99* with 10000000% humidity and send weather reports to the frozen south while laying on the beach sipping a cold drink

Yup, I plug in as soon as it starts getting colder than freezing (32° F for you Canadian folk ).
Have it on a timer so it turns on 3 hours before I need it.

Even with plugging in, it belches white smoke for about 5 minutes with the 10-20° it's been this week.

Tripped the GFI outlet a couple times the last snowstorms we had in the middle of the night, so it really belched the smoke when I started it unplugged the next mornings.

The "Wait to Start" light stays on for just about a full minute or two when I pick up the truck after work.
Sucks having a big truck, nowhere to park downtown.

Used to be able to plug in at the old location in West Valley City,
but there aren't any outlets available at the ole' Traxx Station.
(light rail for you non-Utahns)
Maybe I can just throw a grappling hook over the overhead wire,
and clip a jumper cable to the rail

Now it sits in the Traxx parking lot, have to walk to get lunch (dinner for you 9-5'ers)

Just make sure I don't let it get below 1/2 tank,
been using Powerservice this winter since it sits for 10 hours in the cold.
Giving serious thought to one of them Espar heaters.

Tanderson, I bet if you tied the cord to your waist and jumped out the window, the new powder would break your fall and then it wouldn't be to far back upstairs to get warmed up Skeered say skeered, I walked thru the snow and wind 8 miles, up hill , BOTH ways, with only one shoe and half a coat to go to school

Tanderson, I’m just west of you here in Cheney. While it is this cold out I leave mine plugged in all the time. I didn’t drive my truck for a couple of days and when I did go to start it, it fired right up but you could tell she was cold. Kinda freaked me out to see all that white smoke coming out of the pipe. Now that it is this cold I drive it everyday.
