Angry Serpintine Belt distruction

Had a problem yesterday while driving my 92 d350 I kept hearing a ting ting like something hitting the fan. I pulled over and found the front edge of the serpintine belt gone and wrapped around the A/C clutch. I removed the belt from the clutch and took out my brand new spare and replaced the belt.
After 30 miles ting ting ting. a brand new belt same thing does anybody know what could cause this.

Could be the belt tensioner pivot is worn. Or worse could be the crank thrust bearing. Have any end play on your crank?

Have not checked it yet could it be a bad water pump as I just noticed an antifreeze drip

Could be a bad water pump. The tensioner is a likely culprit too.

Man I hope it is not the crank end play.
I'm hoping to take it to my shop this weekend. I would like to check the KDP but I'm having the shakes over the thought of 65.00 for a bolt and a washer.
I would rather pay that for the jig setup but unable to find one.
