I own a 99 24v. On my way home yesterday the truck started cutting out and jerking violently, while under acceleration. If used a very light foot it wouldnt surge as much, but wouldnt pull 55mph. Under normal or heavy acceleration the truck jerks loses speed. before yesterday had no problems. There are no codes, no burnt fuses, cant see anything abnormal, fuel filter changed about 15000 ago, air filter not plugged, it will start normally, idols normally, but is not drivable, unless you have 2 miles to get up to 55mph. I am going to change the fuel filter today. I know this is the help section, but this is my only source of transportation, and I work out of this truck, so any help will be appreciated.

I have the quadzilla adrenaline, same results with it hooked up or not.

 

How cold is it where you are? Dumb question but sounds like the fuel is gelled.

 

Sounds like your transfer pump has gone out. I would check flow from pump and if below spec replace the transferpump. Min flow rate 45 oz in 25 seconds. Read this thread https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/....html?t=259251

 

I replaced fuel filter and all seems to be good again, I have replaced a lot of bad fuel filters in my life but I have never had that happen before. thanks to all that responded
