hello everybody<br>i got a question that driveing me crazy<br><br>the other day i was going to pick up my dad from work and <br>i was pushing my truck pretty good <br>and my pyro probe came out <br>the copper fitting stayed in the manifold the only part that came off was the probe i drove home about 30 miles with it out i got home and put it back in now my truck runs about 200 degrees hotter i put the probe in different lenghts and get the same readings <br>did i break something?<br>what is your egt at when you cruisin at 70mph <br>im scared to pull cows with my truck now i dont want to over heat it <br>help me<br> <br>

I really doubt that you hurt anything. Just make sure that the thermocouple is close to the center of the manifold.<br><br>

1/2 - 3/4 in. is recomended depth for the thermo coupler.<br><br><br><br> : Eddie : 8)
