running rough, intermittantly. engine light

ok. yesterday, i was driving.had a slight stumble, in gear at stop lights. no engine light. loaded up the truck, drove fine , when driving. then stopped again. stumble then engine light on. code 1693 and 1690. but i have no loss in fuel pressure. idle at 9-12psi, and drivign pressure 15 psi. i have a comp edge box,afe intake. tripple disk and upgraded valve body. i also have a r.a.s.p. fuel system. i also replaced my lift pump last year and my injection pump. i guess my question is. Can my fuel pressure still be good. cause of the rasp fuel system and still have an injection pump failure? oh i also , disconnected my batteries and reset the code. my light was on right away. then shut truck off. light has not returned today or engine stumble.???

P1690 Fuel injection pump CKP Sensor Does Not Agree With ECM CKP Sensor

Since you replaced the VP44 last year, I'd look at the crank sensor.

How's your tachometer, has it been jumping around more than usual?

Im guessing its the cam sensor. I too had this problem, BAD. Thought it was the VP44 until it Finally threw a code when the tach started dying...

Depending if you have a 2001 OR a 2001.5 you may or may not have a crank sensor, it all goes off of the cam sensor in my 01.5.

Mine is just the opposite.....idles high and drops a PSI or two when accelerating or cruising.
