When I first start up the truck in the mornings or if it sits for a day or so it pours white smoke and idles rough for about 30-45 seconds. I also noticed more black smoke just driving normal. When I say its rough I mean the entire truck shakes like its about to die. The truck is stock now except for banks exhaust and an AFE intake THANKS

 

I think there was a TSB for hard starting, long crank times and white smoke. It's possible when you returned to stock programing from the Bully Dog that those reflashes were not there in the stock programing? That would be my guess as the BD does not store your original programing but a subset of it that equals stock from all that I have read about it.

 

If I just take my truck to the dealer and tell them whats it doing, and that there TSB for this, what will they have to do

 

they will reflash the ecm but it soulds like you may have the deadly leaky injector sickness that is happening to our trucks take it back if under warranty and have them test the injectors the reflash is for light white smoke not death shake in the mornings

 

Thanks for the input, how can they tell if the truck has an injector problem? As soon as I can get a day off I'll run it buy the dealer. Does Dodge know about the Injector problem/TSB?
