Angry Rotor won't come off!

I am in the process of replacing the right front U-Joint on my 2500 Cummins. We got the freakin castle nut off the axle(which was a son of a gun!) and now the rotor will not budge. We have tried PB Blaster and a deadblow hammer but I am trying not to ruin the rotor by pounding on it! I didnt want to have to get a new one. Any more suggestions?

There's a socket trick, you put it behind the hub, on a bolt then use the power steering of the truck to push it out. It's somewhere around here. Jake discovered it here. Infidel documented it:

Before you can do the socket trick, you need to remove the bolts holding the wheel bearing to the knuckle. The rotor does not come off by itself- it comes off with the unit bearing. Then, you seperate it from the bearing by removing the wheel studs.
As you will see in the above link, once the bolts are loose, you use a socket and extension, pushing on the loosened bolt, to force the bearing out.

Bigblue, be sure to include what year your truck is. There are some subtle differences in the years. This helps in answering questions. Welcome to DTR!

Before you can use my trick first remove the four bolts on the back side of the wheel.
