If you are into performance the HRVP is hard to beat. Adds some 40-60-80hp and is not much more than the stock VP. AFAIK, all HRVPs have the updated electronics. Check them out, everybody carries them nowadays. Mine came from Advanced Diesel Technology. Now Jetpilot sells them as well. Call around, they are not hard to replace.

i totally agree. i love my hrvp44. i wouldnt sell it for nothing. and the greatest thing is, i got mine from Piers and they warrenty theirs even with a wire taped box. you can really feel a difference from stock. definetly go with the hot rod. you cant beat it.

Most of the pump builders are using the "FEDEX" electronics package.
There are supposed to be more vibration and temperature isolated for longer life.
The FEDEX stuff isn't for increased performance.

The builders then make other additional changes to 'HotRod' their pumps.

yes i no, i didnt mean to seem like i was saying that the updated computer is what makes it a HOT ROD pump. that comes from the internal work. sorry about that.
