what is the best way to change the windsheild wiper liinkage bushing on my 1992 w250 ctd . and will the universal bushing you buy at auto parts work

 

A big pair of pliers works. You need to remove the wiper arms and the cowl cover, some of the screws are hiding under the edge of the windshield gasket. Most auto parts stores have the bushings. Help! 49440 is the set you want.
