Relocating Pump Problem

OK got a new pump http://www.dieseldistributorsusa.com...ump-p/atlp.htm

and got the vulcan relocation bigline kit, got all the lines run but i cannot figure out how to hook to the airtex pump the kit comes with adapters to screw into the stock lp to do away with banjos but the new pump does not look like the ends come off to use these adapters so I got no idea how to hook the pump in and I got to have this running by morning anyone thats done this I could use some steering in the right direction

ok I found some old post from 2005 here that shows the double female adapter someone found before the "kit" was available but no info with it, think I got the inlet side figured out took the stock quick connect and cut off the plastic line to expose the barb and the 3/8" inlet hose fits fine guess I got to run around in the morning lookin for a fitting somewhere to fit the other end

You don't hook it to the stock lp. You bypass it. Theres no need to try to push the fuel thru a dead pump. You should have gotten an elbow that will screw into the intake port on the filter housing. You take the banjo bolt out and toss it, then remove the line that feeds the filter housing from the stock lp. The new elbow willl have a barbed end to receive a hose. Run a hose from that barb to the output of the pump. The modify the supply line from the tank to run to the intake of the new pump. You should have also gotten a harness to run from the stock lp powwer supply cable to the new pump. It's also been said that the closer you can mount the new lp to the fuel tank, the better and longer it will run. I got the version with the relocation kit. It came with a large bracket. I just happen to have some handy holes in the frame right uner the drivers seat. I bolted it there. it was right in the path of the fuel lines so tapping into them too about one minute. Plus I can hear the pump run with just a faint buzz when the key gets cycled. If you don't know it's there, you'll never hear it, but if you do, you can carefully listen for it to cycle. Just a little odd habit you get into. Like leaving your watch at home. If I don't hear it, I'll know to stop and make a check. Thankfully, I've heard it every time I've hopped in the truck so far.

I did remove the old lp and ran everything down my problem is the vulcan line kit requires you to buy an extra adapter kit for the airtex pump which i do not have, when i ordered the line kit from genos i specificly asked if adapters were in the kit for airtex and was told yes, i also have an extra line kit for filter to vp because i ordered both line kits not realizing the relocation kit included the other kit
