Unhappy Radio stuck on AM and none of the buttons will work

Yesterday we blew a fuse in our 99 Dodge Ram truck and lost our turn signals and brake lights we replaced that fuse and now the radio is stuck on AM and the clock can't be changed nothing works except you can maually change the station. We checked the fuses they are good. If anyone has any idea that would be great. Thanks

So basically you three are saying it's not worth trying to fix it just to get a new one....

Yep. Get an aftermarket radio. You'll probebly like it better.

I agree. It's probably gonna be cheaper, easier, and it's gonna sound better. Not to mention that most headunits these days are XM compatible.

RADIO

I agree for the most part these radios suck, I replaced mine w/ a factory JEEP radio, six disc in dash. You just have to make sure that it is a infinity system if your truck has the tweeters or amp... If not you can use a 03-05 ram radio with a little modding (new plugs)...Check E-BAY they're pretty cheap for around $100.

I personally like factory radios because you don't have to worry about theft. I wired RCA converters into mine, upgraded the tweets and mids, had a custom box built under my rear seat w/ 2 JL W-3's and a ZAPCO 6 channel amp.

It sounds awesome and if you look through the window you never even know its there!!!
