Question Steering Wheel Radio Control Buttons

I would like to instal the radio control buttons in the steering wheel on my 2006 SLT and have done a search and read all of the posts that I found. "Ratlratl" did a good write up on the topic which will come in handy when I do the instal.

If I purchase the control buttons does it come complete with all the necessary wiring or do I need to purchase something else?

According to some posts, some seem to have the wiring already and some don't. Not much help am i ? Might have to do a few more searches to verify it, or one of our ever knowledgeable members who knows will chime in. Good luck.

I went to the dealer today and had them activate the steering wheel controls and the manual high idle on my truck and everything is working perfectly.

The most difficult part for me was getting the switches to snap in place. The little plugs on the wiring harness for the switches did not require any trimming, straight plug and play.
Because of the weight of the diesel engine, the front end on the CTD is very heavy, I jacked the front end up and put it on stands, this made it very easy to turn the steering wheel to accommodate cutting the holes.

So a big thank you.
