Power steering out

I have a 99 3500, the old ps pump was squealing and frothing badly cold or hot and very hard to steer and the brakes were mushy. tried the Lucas leak stop, the squealing stopped but still very hard to steer. Just put in a new pump, jacked up the front end, ran the steering wheel from side to side and pumped the brakes trying to bleed the air out o0f the lines. Let the truck down and it still is very hard to steer. Any suggestions on what to do from this point?

Sounds like your steering box is shot.

Doesn't feel like that, and the brakes are still mushy even with the new pump, didn't think the steering box would affect the brakes but I could be wrong. Brakes were redone 3 months ago and were fine untill the pump started squealing.
