Power Loss at Startup

I have a 2002 Quad cab, 3/4 auto w/ac. Sometimes, when I start my truck, I have no power like a filter is plugged. However, I can throw it into neutral, kill the switch, and restart and it runs fine. I had the lift pump changed about 8 months ago. I've changed the fuel filter too many times to count. What am I missing?

Is it no power engine wise, or like the tranny is slipping badly? If its the first startup of the day, or after its been sitting a while, the trans fluid needs to start flowing before the tranny will really "engage." Stock the 47re doesnt flow fluid in park, I drop mine into neutral in the mornings and let it run for 30 or so seconds to get fluid flowing; longer in the winter to get fluid temp up

It has something to do with the engine. The engine is bogging down no matter where the gas peddle is. I can throw it into neutral, turn the key off and start right back up in a matter of seconds and it runs fine. I really think that its something electrical.
