P1693 means there is another code stored in the ECM on the block.

Could be minor, could be VP death code........ Find what it is and you know how much to worry.

I had the dash go to the "No Buss" code. Tried this and that and finally found the plugs not in all the way on the back of the cluster.

After getting it running and the cluster working I now have the P1963 and a P1968 code. It seems to run just fine.

Is there a way to clear the codes without a reader?
