Not getting any fuel from the VP44

Time for a new pump or electrical faliure?
Ok, I have two lift pumps that are giving me great fuel pressure (between 10-15 psi). This pressure is taken directly at the IP. I have cracked the lines and get almost no fuel going to the injectors. There may be a slight stream at the lines going to 1 and 5. I have run my batteries down to the point that I had to charge them over night. What could be the problem? Truck ran fine with 257,938 miles on this pump, now it throws a 1693 code.

I'd guess you have a failed VP-44. but do check all the fuses and relays. I'd unplug the VP and make sure the connector is connected properly. Make sure you have good grounds. Fuel in the tank. Look for obvious leaks. I also check the codes. You will need a reader for the 99. Try Auto Zone or the others.

The VP can fail with no codes but you do have a 1693 which just says that there are other codes. 0216 is a very bad one. It's possible that the crankshaft position sensor has failed but it usually leaves a code.

Doesn't look good.
