No turbo boost.
Problem getting system bleed.
Ok I installed the new pump, all the wiring. verified timing is at .0551 inches.
filled the fuel filter.
Kept the return line open and manually pumped fuel into the fuel pump. With the fuel pump full, (fuel exiting the return line). Hooked everything back up and started bleeding the injectors. opened 1,3,5 started for 25 seconds. Closed 1,3,5 opened 2,4,6 started for 25 seconds. repeat.
Going on round 30 about now. Still a tom of foam in the return line. Put in clear vinyl line to fuel pump and clear vinyl from return. To fuel pump the is no air. from return lots of foam. sometimes it wants to start but rarely. Is there any common place that air might be getting into the system?
Any quick ways to bleed this. injection pump was off for one full week.
Thanks

Did you use all new copper washers when you reinstalled the pump? If not, you could have a small leak in the return side, letting air in.
Why did you loosen the return line to the pump? Normally, it will bleed out on its own.
Have you hooked up the blue wire to the solenoid? Make sure the connector is good and not frayed, hanging by a thread.
How far are you cracking the injector lines? Dont go any more than about 1/4 turn from tight. You want to purge the air out, but not let it back in. Also check the lines at the pump delivery valves- BTDT, embarassing, but it was a simple fix.
The only thing I can think of as far as the "mid range governor" is the shop trying to cover their own backsides by using big important sounding words. There is only one spring for the governor, and it either works or it doesnt.
Let us know how it runs when you get it giong.

How long should it take to bleed cylinder 6? I got the truck running, But after 5 minutes I was still getting nothing but foam out of cyliner 6's fuel injector.
Also I do have a vinyl return hose on the truck and can see no air bubbles in the return.
Also I thin k injector 2 and 6 may not be operating correctly. Engine noise does not change wether the fuel line is loose or tight.
Thanks for your input,
Don
