Cruse control in my brothers truck does not work. It first would floor the acelerator petal when set now it does not work at all. I have ckecked the brake light switch, changed the RWAL sensor in the diff ball, and have replaced the buttons. Is their any thing else I can check or am I looking at a bad pcm. The truck in question is got the same mods as the on in my sig but it is a 97 4x4 not a 96, with factory size tires.

 

I had a problem for a year with mine. Turned out to be a broken vacuum line. A minute later and 25 cents, I was a cruisin.

 

The vacuum line, wiring and/or the actuator under the driver's side battery tend to get eaten by acid.
Probably the most common cause of CC failure.
