Unhappy no bus, code?

Help, I have no guages, and the odometer reads no bus? What is that? The truck will start and run but I don't see the oil press or any guage coming up.I don't want to drive it.I don't have a scan tool.2000 ram.

Could be any of the other modules with a problem locking up the BUS communications. Try unplugging the ABS module and see what happens. I've seen that a time or two. Other than that, you'll need a scanner.

Red face

I fixed the no bus code and dead guages. It turns out that the rear shoes had been locking up with a lot of rust dust built up in the drums. The anti-lock must have been going crazy everytime I was braking.Especially when I was towing my car trailer.I cleaned out the brakes and cleared the code with the scan tool. The no bus code is a hard one to get rid of for sure!
