New Injectors
New Injectors
Truck is in the shop, they're saying I need all new injectors... OEM are $500 apiece. Do I bite the bullet and pay this or should I look into different options?? This price sounded fairly steep to me.
If you have an authorized Bosch Service Center around, give them a call. The dealer price is in the low end of the competitive ballpark, but new is not always the best solution. Good rebuilt injectors with new tips and solenoids will be slightly less, but they also use improved components.
but here ya go...some performance injectors that will cost u much much less for all of them

I had one injector go bad at 97.5k miles, replaced under warrantee. I never heard of all 6 going bad at the same time, but I'm new at this only having 112k miles under my belt.
If I were to even think of changing out a few injectors, I'd PM "Don M" of F1Diesel.com and change out all with his. If I were you, I'd PM Don M just to discuss why all 6 of your's might need replacing. One reason might be, cause the garage doesn't quite know what to change next.

Yeah, how aboput the Cummins 100K warranty? still have any miles left? If so remove the tunner and see if you can get warranty, $100 isd much cheaper than your $500x6 for replacements.
