New BD Transmission Problems

I just had a new BD-Power tranny installed last week. I also installed a new Comp that turned out to be a bad unit. The truck died and would not run properly until I uninstalled the comp and harness. However, since then my new tranny will not shift properly. The tranny will not shift to 2nd until 2500 RPM's. The same goes from 2nd to 3rd. Once it hits third it immediately shifts to 4th. Almost like it is skipping third. I have checked the codes and their are not codes being sent to the computer. Did I burn something up or is this just an adjustment of the throttle cable to tranny?

I also have a BD pressure-lok, Tow-lok and E-Brake tied into the ECU.

I think you REALLY need to call BD. They would be able to help you through all that. It almost sounds to me like the tc is locking up giving you the feeling of a shift, but it's hard to tell without driving the truck.

Unfortunately BD is not open on the weekends. I was hoping it might be something simple that I missed because we are leaving on a trip this morning. It just seems like the VB does not know when to shift. I know that the Pressure lok fools the tranny into thinking that you have your foot to the floor. I kind of think it may be stuck open or something like that.

Thanks for the reply.

If it's fooling it to thinking you have the foot on the floor, then I can understand why it's not shifting until such high rpm's are achieved. Does it feel like it's slipping or anything?

You could try to adjust the throttle psi cable. If the rpm's are too high on every shift as you stated that would be the easiest thing to try.
