My limited slip clutches shredded and tore up the inside of my rear axle, I am supposed to leave this Friday for the East coast...I called over 30 junk yards no one has a complete rear for this truck????
Dealer wants $1100 just for the clutches and side gears!!
I have a 1997 2500 2wd with a Dana 70 3.55 ratio....Once I say that, I always get a "can't help you'.
SO, my question is...what else can I use? Is a 60 or 80 rear the same? IE: hub face width, spring perch width, pinion flange, ect.?
Anyone know where I can find one in the Indiana area?

Any advice or leeds would be greatly appriciated.
At this point I would buy a whole wrecked truck or a motorless truck also, if price is right.

Do not look at the 60 , to light .
The 80 would work .
Go on line , but 4 days to get shipped & installed is asking to get in trouble , putting in a used part then going cross country , I like to get some break in , test drive even on new parts .

Hey John....thanks for the link! I called about 35 yards and spent 3 hours on line searching....all for nothing, but that website lists a few, one is only 120 miles away, they are double checking now....fingers crossed.
