In need of help!!!
Today I was driving home and my truck would only rev up to 1400 rpm, made it home doing 25 mph. Hooked up smarty and noted all codes, then cleared and truck rev up fine. The codes are:
P0121-TP sensor voltage does not agree with map
P0602- ECM fueling calibration error
P1693- DTC cleared in companion jtec module
These three codes have been popping up everyday I drive the truck after the throttle goes dead. I stomp on the peddle a few time and it starts working again
but it is very annoying. With today's problem I read two new codes:
P0606-ECM hardware error
P1689-No communication between ECM and Injection pump
What is causing all these codes? What can be done to fix these codes?

Flashing the ECM is taking it to a dealer and having the lastest updated flash (EI the ECM operating system) put on your ECM. To do that you'll want the stock program back on it off your Smarty.
Have you uploaded the program off your Smarty back to your truck since this started or taken it back to stock?

P0121 indicates that your APPS is either out of calibration or is on the verge of going out. That explains your "dead pedal" and why it clears up when you stomp on the pedal. You might be able to get by with just doing the recalibration procedure, but if the problem keeps occurring, you'll need a new APPS.
P602 and P1693 are always there from the Smarty.
P606 and P1689 are really worrisome since they deal with communication between the ECM and VP44. The P606 probably put you into limp mode which is why you had no power till you cleared the codes.

Thanks for all the info. I just got done dropping off the truck at the dealer, removed the comp and downloaded stock program. And it did do it again on the way over to the dealer with it being stock but it did not go into limp mode just the dead pedal. After this problem is fixed i am very skeptical about re installing the smarty and comp. What do ya'll think?
Just got it back from the dealer runs great. They changed the APPS sensor, the map sensor, and the turbo boost pressure sensor. they also told me that my lift pump is bad to, have walbro 392 in garage just got the fuel pressure gauge today. but the truck is not spittin any codes for the lift pump is that normal, they just go out like that. Whould it be safe to put the comp and smarty back on or should i leave it off???
