One day after installation of my vented Dana 60 cover, it started to puke gear oil out thevent hose. The dipstick was modified by Mag-Hytek and I installed the old hose over the stem on the dipstick. It's fine at slow speeds, but at interstate speeds it has puked about a quart by my guesstimation. It's all over the wheel well and lower suspension. Whata mess! I'm using Mobil1. I'm thinking it's a foaming problem. Is anybody else using a vented cover besides me? I hear they're a rarity.

 

sounds to me like it may be over full. or the vent needs a baffle.
