my dad's E150's brakes are ceased or something help!!

hey guys my dad's got a 99' E150 fullsize ..its been really cold up here last few weeks ...in the morning my dad's brakes are so tight that he says he might as well use both feet ..he has to muscle the pedal to get the ford to brake...this usually lasts 3 to 4 days and then gets better now its ceased again..

ps this keeps happening even after he's fully warmed up all the way to worek which is 30 min away

much appreciated guys(because making him happy will ultimately lead to happiness for my dodge )

If he has a full pedal and just hard to push, it's probably the power booster going bad or could be moisture in the fluid??

Could be the fluid has hygroscopic contaminatation from water.
It's normal for this to happen with regular brake fluid over time and it could be freezing up.

I'd try a complete brake system flush, and refill with fresh fluid.

An intermittant problem can be very frustrating. However, if it seems to come and go, I would check the vacuum hose going to the power assist. There may me some water in there that will act goofy until you get it out.
