Angry to much headlights

i hope somebody can steer me the right direction---1998.5 24 valve 2500 the headlights will not shut off--happened last night had to disconect the batteries to shut them off--get this pulled the headlight switch and every fuse that even mentioned lighting and every relay --still on---looked for an aftermarket relay install--nope, where the hell is it getting power from? could the multi switch be the culprit? none of this makes sense----went out and pulled the multi switch off the column and unplugged it--still on. never mind guys found it on another forum--culprit was DRL daytime running lights--canadian thing-- on the drivers side fender well small black box 3x3 was fried and leaking

Good one Arroyo
FYI I may be mistaken but I think that generation the headlights have power all the time it is the ground that is switched. Not that it matters since you got it figured out.. I know the 01's were definitely ground switched.
