More Help Please - wiring for gauges
Hi guys - we're to the point of wiring the power for the gauges. I have a 3rd gen - see my sig - I need to know the best way to:
1) Get power for the EGT amplifier - we currently have it installed up under the steering column.
2) Lighting (and dimming) for the gauges
Where did you guys with the 3rd gens install / tap the power for these? What tools are needed and what wires (and where are they) should we be looking for?
Thanks guys - we're almost done with this - I actually did the drilling / tapping of the EGT myself (post turbo). I was a little nervous, but it worked out ok.
Thanks - - - -

Never mind - it's done - had to go get a voltmeter, but we wired the lights/dimmer into the light/dimmer wire that plugged into the HVAC control box in the dash (my gauges are cubby-hole mounted), and got power from the cig lighter.
All the gauges are installed, and appear to be working correctly. I'll post some pics when I get a chance.
Thanks.
