Exclamation loss of all power 05 3500 5.9 please help

its been a costly road to get where i am now still with a broke truck. my truck will run fine for a lil bit and say im going down the road 70 or so and go to pass a a car and as i push the pedal my truck just loses all power and blows black smoke with out the BULLY DOG. so stock and lots of black smoke? and wont go it just goes dow to 50 and wont pull its self out of a wet paper sac. so i took it to a dodge dealer as i was on the road to California in aaron berg AZ they sead it was my lift pump. so i let the replace it i got back on the road in 2days. the truck ran like gold still was blowing lots of black smoke? but i still drove it down the road got about 80mi and did the same stuff no fix so i took it the next dodge dealer and that the other told me to go to. so i took it and they had it for 2 weeks and i went home on a plane the.. there saying its my ECM comp id and there not sher either. BUT WHEN THEY ASKED WHEN THE LAST TIME I CHANGED THE SPARK PLUGS I TOLD THEM TO STOP TOUCHING MY TRUCK! so my older brother has it at his house now and im going to get it this friday ... but the truck has loss of power and blows black smoke stock and will stall out and wont start for at-least 20 min then its good to go for a bit then dose it all over.I replaced lift pump. but maybe some one has some in put
thanks pleas help

put a boost gauge on it and check your boost also see if you can get any codes. also check your injectors

Wide open throttle with lots of black smoke and loss of power is an air flow/restriction problem. Check your air filter, intake tubes, and all boost tube boots and clamp connections. Check for torn boots and cracks in the tubes and CAC.

Sounds like a blown plastic intercooler. Boost gauge time.

I don't think its a turbo or turbo boost problem if you are having a black smoke problem. Loose of power yes, but black smoke no. You need turbo boost in order for for fuel pressure. I think your problem is the fuel rail high pressure switch. These have been a problem check for corrosion at the switch connector and make sure your connector is connected properly, if that looks ok then its probably the switch and you have to buy the fuel rail along with the switch as cummins has changed it. You can verify this with a low pressure code.

Also, with a blown intercooler boot it will still blow black smoke.. Dont ask how I know.
