Long question - Truck won't start

I have a 2003 2500 that is having starting problems. The truck runs great and has zero problems until you shut it off, once it sets for a few minutes it is almost impossible to get it to start again. The truck is on it's 5th trip to 2 different dealers for the same problem and here is the repairs:
1 - crossover tubes incorrectly torqued so Dodge makes the appropriate repairs and the truck works great for about a week; then it goes back to not starting.
2 - Not enough pressure from the lift pump so we have it replaced and the tank professionally cleaned at the same time. Truck works great for a few days and then won't start again.
3 - 1st dealer proclaims a fuel contamination issue so there will be no warranty on the parts; however they believe that they can fix the problem by replacing the crossover tubes and all injectors if i'll pay for it.
4 - Take to second dealer where they determine it to be a pressure valve (???) and replace it. Truck again works perfectly for five days and then won't start again.
5 - Second dealer now believes that the lift pump is the problem and the tank will have to be cleaned due to the fact that they think there may be something in there. I told them that had all been done just a couple of weeks back at which time he said that he would get with his tech and then get back to me. He calls back to advise me that they have taken a fuel sample from my tank and by looking at it they believe the fuel is contaminated and there will be no warranty. However, for approximatley $700 they can go ahead and replace the lift pump and that should fix the problem. (all fuel comes from Conoco)
I have contacted a dealership in Albuquerque and there tech says that they are having some problem with the 2003 and 2004's with injector bleed down and he thinks that this is my problem. I now have 3 different dealers that I feel have no clue what is going on with this truck and are guessing.
Is there anyone out there that might know what is going on with my truck and can give me a direction to head. I don't mind paying for the repairs, I just want to feel that it is really going to fix the problem.
PS the dealership got it to fire on Ether (yuk) and it started immediately with no problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

The Albuquerque tech is correct, loss of system pressure during a shut down period is injector bleed down. One or more of your fuel injectors has hammered the seat out and is now allowing air to infiltrate the rail. The only solution is new or rebuilt injectors. Even if you find the defective injector and replace it, the other 5 will be running on borrowed time.

This is a common problem, and happens to all the third gen engines once they get a few miles on them.

Regarding refusal of the warranty, file a claim with your consumer fraud group in your state's Attorney General's Office. Dodge has been doing this dance on trucks over a couple years old to get out of warranty costs as the third gen fuel systems are killing them.

If the injectors are the problem then why do they work for a few days and then stop working. Sounds more electrical being so hit or miss. Check all the wireing around the pump and areas where the techs have been working. They move a wire that is rubbing something and it takes a few days for it to start rubbing again.
